As an ISA Senior Life Member he was the Founding Director of the ISA Glass Industry Division (Now the Glass & Ceramics Industry Division), a Program Coordinator and Session Coordinator numerous times for the Process Measurement Control Division and the Glass Industry Division. He also was an Instructor for the ISA Training Department for his original course on Non-Contact Temperature Measurement and the ISA Temperature Measurement Course. He has written and published numerous ISA papers and was awarded the R.N.Pond Award for the best ChemPID Division paper at ISA 1991 in Anaheim.His personal thoughts on sensors & measurement is at: "MeasurementBlog"
