May Speaker: Robert Wimmer – National Manager Technical and Regulatory Affairs, Energy & Environmental Research, Toyota Motor North America, Inc. Mr. Wimmer is responsible for managing Toyota Motor North America’s (TMA) energy and environmental research, and advanced vehicle activities.  He oversees efforts on advanced energy and biofuels research, the Global Climate and Energy Project (GCEP) at Stanford University, CO2 capture/sequestration research, and TMA’s interactions with the US Department of Energy.

Section to award three scholarships

The Philadelphia Section will award three $1000 scholarships for 2009. The awards will be in the form of checks with certificates presented to students at the May 2009 section meeting. Prior recipients of this award are also eligible.
