Your Section & The Philadelphia Future City Competition

Future Cities Members of our Executive Board (the wise men) have made the ISA Philadelphia Section a bronze sponsor of the Philadelphia Future City Competition.
A National Engineers Week Program, the competition provides a fun and exciting educational engineering experience for middle school students. The competition combines a stimulating engineering challenge with a “hands-on” application.

Tim received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and has more than thirty years of process control and systems engineering experience. He started his career with the DuPont Company, working at plant sites in Texas, Delaware, and South Carolina, and spent several years as in-house consultant in the DuPont Engineering Department.

In 1991, Tim co-founded Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE), where he serves as President and also works as a Project Manager.

John is a 20 year veteran of Covanta. He directed a significant overhaul to the furnace, boilers, and pumps for the ability to vary the feed rate as the waste makes its way back and forth through the furnace and the ash is removed.
